Mudman to fast track expansion after IPO

Mudman will speed its local and international restaurant chain expansions after a successful pre-Songkran listing on Bangkok’s Market for Alternative Investment.

A major priority for the group will be opening its first Greyhound Cafe in the UK which it plans to use as a springboard for further expansion by franchising in Europe.

Besides the iconic Thai Greyhound fashion and food brand, Mudman is the Thai operator of Au cafe chain Bon Pain, Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins. It plans to expand the networks of all four brands domestically and will evaluate other international markets for expansion, especially regionally. It hopes to have 22 Greyhound cafes trading in Thailand by 2020 and open others in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.

Mudman also operates a food service business, M-Kitchen, which operates hospital cafeterias, and IPD which caters for private and international schools.

According to listing filings, the company plans to have 355 Dunkin Donuts, 96 Au Bon Pains and 54 Baskin Robbins outlets trading by the end of 2020.
