High-performance sports apparel brand 2XU Hong Kong has launched its first flagship store, on Leighton Road in Causeway Bay.
With a black façade and luminescent logo, the store features an LED display in its window that changes colour to echo featured collections.
Inside the 930 sqft (86 sqm) store, the untreated flooring gives the space an industrial and edgy feel, while feature walls showcase the brand’s range of compression products. Fabric technology displays and diagrams explain the technology behind the high-performance materials. Three zones present apparel for men and women, as well as accessories.
“Since entering Hong Kong in 2009, 2XU has experienced tremendous year-on-year growth,” says Sure Step Asia Pacific MD Kirsty Hulme. “With the city’s runners, gym-goers and yogis, the time is right to open our first flagship store here.”
The brand’s latest collection is on display, and to mark the flagship’s opening discounts are being offered on select product ranges. Fans can also download a HK$50 (US$6.40) cash coupon from Facebook, and customers will receive a water bottle gift with any purchase at the flagship store. Meanwhile, 2XU last month transformed its Sogo counter in Causeway Bay and early this month branched out to Kowloon with a counter in Sogo Tsim Sha Tsui.
