Sa Sa International expecting profit slump

Cosmetics retailer Sa Sa International Holdings is expecting its profits to slump by 10 to 20 per cent for its latest fiscal year.

“The decline has generally been within our expectations,” its board of directors says following a preliminary assessment of the group’s accounts for the year ending March 31.

While the performance of its Hong Kong and Macau markets started to stabilise in the second half, the performance of Sasa.com had been weaker than expected.

The annual results announcement for the period will be published before the end of June.
