SRPS introduces shopping, dining, art space to Orchard Central

A multi-concept space for shopping, dining and art, SRPS, has opened in Orchard Central.

Its full name is Steamroom with the Pillar and Stones, and it occupies a sprawling corner of the mall. Designed by managing partner/artist Wong Lip Chin, it is home to a “kaffatea” brewing area (Steamroom), fine dining with executive chef Stephan Zoisl, who has worked at four Michelin Star restaurants (The Pillar) and a retail outlet and art lab (Stones).

At the corner of the retail space is an art lab for masterclasses, workshops and art jamming sessions.

Stones offers lifestyle brands including Portuguese men’s grooming label Musgo Real, Brooklyn-based ceramic studio Group Partner and American footwear brand Aurora Shoe Company. In-house labels include In Real Life and Ultramarine Studio, both from Emporium of Modern Man.

Another feature is an edible wall garden, with the ingredients featuring in the restaurant’s dishes. There is also a paludarium inspired by the Amazon, and a green wall covered in hanging plants.
