New GM for eBay Hong Kong, Taiwan

Ebay Hong Kong and Taiwan has a new chief.

With more than 15 years’ experience across the IT, online and e-commerce industries, Jenny Hui has been promoted to GM for the two markets.

Reporting to eBay Greater China CEO John Lin, who is also VP of eBay Inc, Hui will be responsible for managing eBay’s cross-border marketplace trade, as well as growing gross merchandise volume and revenue for the Hong Kong and Taiwan business.

Tasked with developing new business, she previously led the account management team. She joined eBay as senior manager in seller management in 2012, leading a team of account managers in growing key accounts for both Hong Kong and China cross-border trade business.

Before joining eBay, Hui was country marketing manager for Hewlett-Packard APJ, and before that led the Hong Kong marketing team. Other roles have included business development at Yahoo! and sales and marketing positions with Microsoft.
