Downtown Gallery Singapore offers lifestyle retail

Leisure and lifestyle experiences are offered by the new Downtown Gallery Singapore.

“Downtown Gallery has been built for the future self, and this will be carried strongly throughout the entire space, from the features to the amenities to the tenants,” says OUE senior VP (retail, marketing and leasing) Patrina Tan.

“Just as people have social networking sites, Downtown Gallery will be the offline version of one – where it is about people and the social connection they are seek.”

To celebrate its opening, the Singapore cycling community and enthusiasts used 30 bicycles to power up the interactive façade of the mall.

Stores include Art Line (featuring Singapore art), Barber 25 and Head & Hair Spa Lily (a multi-concept store offering hair and beauty services for both men and women), Chen’s Mapo Tofu (Szechwan classics), Cuttour Hair Studio, Express by Chatterbox (Mandarin chicken rice, dine-in or takeaway), Le Petit Society childrenswear, Japanese diner Marutama Ra-Men, O+ eyewear, Ode to Organics by FrankSkincare, Pho Stop (Vietnamese cuisine), Sama Curry & Cafe

(Hokkaido soup curry), Saybons (French food), urban gardening shop The Green Capsule, Venue by Sebastian (contemporary European fare with Asian influence) and Wings to Wings dance and fitness studio.

OUE, a diversified real-estate developer throughout Asia and the US, is working on transforming OUE Downtown to a mixed-use development comprising offices, serviced residences and the shopping mall with its 262m frontage, in the financial corridor between Raffles Place and Tanjong Pagar.
