MCM Japan has offered made-to-order designs of its most popular products for the first time at a pop-up store in Tokyo.
In the luxury Isetan Shinjuku department store, the global fashion brand’s pop-up allowed customers to pick up items they had customised through the brand’s mobile app. They were able to change the colour of the leather, handle or studs on MCM’s most popular products, as well as monogramming.
From next month, the customisation service will be available at the brand’s two stores in Ginza, Tokyo. It will be expanded globally this year to cover MCM’s 35 markets.
