Lumine Singapore to launch at Clarke Quay

In its first overseas foray, Japanese full-service shopping centre Lumine Singapore will open at Clarke Quay Central in November.

Occupying about 10,000 sqft (930 sqm) on the second level, the outlet will offer Japanese fashion brands with a focus on versatility, style and comfort.

Established 1966, Lumine has 16 branches in Japan, including Ikebukuro and Shinjuku in Tokyo. It actually has its roots in Japan’s rail service, being a merger of four companies (Omiya Station Building, Kita-Senju Station Building, Lumine Shinjuku and Lumine Yokohama, all subsidiaries of JR East (East Japan Railway Company). Lumine is now a consolidated subsidiary of JR East and a core company of the group.
