F&B group L Concept has opened its third L’Usine cafe in Ho Chi Minh City, a multi-level cafe and retail space in District 1.
As the brand’s new flagship, it has a prominent street frontage in a restored French colonial Art Deco residence. Period-inspired stairwells lead to clearly differentiated spaces each with their own spin on the brand image.
Furnishings and decor reflect cosmopolitan Saigon vogue, says L Concept. It describes the look as a “passionate interpretation of Saigonese culture from the outside looking in”, and says the brand has crafted an emerging identity for the next stage in its evolution.
On the fourth floor of the flagship, the restaurant has an upgraded menu with refined versions of customer favourites. Its retail stock is a curated collection of homeware as well as niche and fashion brands seldom seen elsewhere in Vietnam.
L’Usine was founded in 2009 by a group of Ho Chi Minh City-based art enthusiasts.
L Concept says the expanded L’Usine is in preparation for launching the brand overseas.
