Pablo Cheese Tart Singapore finally opens

Before opening its doors for the first time at Wisma Atria, Pablo Cheese Tart Singapore had a queue of customers waiting to try the Japanese snack.

While the cafe launched at noon, the queue started at 9.20am with student Grace Law, who has been to a Pablo outlet in Osaka, with two friends.

Pablo Singapore sent chefs to the Osaka outlet for a month of training. The 78-seat cafe offers crusty cheese tarts filled with custard-like cream cheese. It features the signature 15cm tart plus the premium tart that uses two types of cream cheese.

Other products include Matcha Cheese Tart and Chocolate Cheese tart, as well as Cheese Soft-Serve Ice Cream. There are also mini cheese tarts, with matcha and chocolate versions to be added in the next few months.

Pablo has a signature coffee, hot or cold, plus a smoothie.

Pablo Japan founder/CEO Masamitsu Sakimoto attended the Singapore launch, promising more flavours including some Singapore inspirations.

The cafe’s opening had been delayed by about a month.
