Time for a break: Nestle sleep cafe opens in Tokyo

Bed maker Caspar has partnered in a Nestle Sleep cafe concept opened in Tokyo.

Nestle owns the KitKat confectionery range, whose marketing slogan is “Time for a break”. KitKat has something of a cult status in Japan.

The cafe is situated in the Ginza Chairs complex, and aims to help Japanese to catch up on their rest.

Sleepers can purchase for a 30-minute power nap or settle in for a three-hour dream session.

Dozens of beds are set up at angles to each other with timer and eye mask provided.

There are also sleeping tables which are equipped with special foam pillows to support the head and neck.

A similar concept was set up in Harajuku in March this year.
