Goldheart is the first jeweller in Singapore to launch a roster of six Sanrio characters on 999 gold bars, coins and jewellery.
The characters include Cinnamon Roll, Hello Kitty, Keroppi, Little Twin Stars, My Melody and Pompompurin.
Goldheart Jewelry senior brand manager Iris Tan says Sanrio characters have a wide appeal and huge fanbase in Asia.
The collection is being launched in two phases. The first phase involves 20 gold bars and coins, with prices from S$88 (US$65) to $138. The second phase will be jewellery featuring all six characters.
The Sanrio 999 gold bars come in a variety of designs and special packaging. Some of the bars include quotes from the characters depicted. The 999 gold coins feature close-ups of the six characters, and are available as a box set or individually.
