Chiara Ferragni plans to open more stores in China

Designer/style blogger Chiara Ferragni is planning to open about 35 stores in China.

“Right now, the market is booming for us,” says CEO Andrea Lorini.

Ferragni opened her first store in Milan early this year, followed by an outlet in Shanghai.

While China is a focal market, Ferragni is also planning to open in the US, probably in Los Angeles or New York.

“We’re the opposite of a normal brand that starts with physical stores,” says Lorini. “We’ll always be strong on digital and social, but the physical element is what was missing.”

When the stores will open has yet to be announced, the Ferragni’s latest collection will launch immediately after it debuts in Milan Fashion Week.
