IFC to host Art of Caviar exhibition

Luxury Swiss skincare brand La Prairie is staging The Art of Caviar Exhibition at Central’s IFC mall from Saturday September 30 until October 2.

The pop-up event celebrates 30 years of the brand’s Skin Caviar Collection.

Travelling the world, it draws on technology and physics with some exhibits being interactive, responding to touch or body movement.

The line-up, as revealed by Hong Kong Tatler, includes:

  • Living Cells by Paul Coudamy: Clusters of black magnetised marbles that take different forms when interacting with steel structures.
  • Solid Frequencies also by Coudamy: Marbles in a transparent tube move to sound waves, and form shapes when a visitor touches the tube.
  • Audiovisual installation by TremensS: This starts with a monolith in a pitch-black room, with a laser light and four projectors casting abstract visuals.
  • Photography composition by Cinq Fruits art group: Five abstract images inspired by electricity and chemistry on a cellular level interpret how art and science interact.
  • Moving Pixel by Bonjour Lab: Body movements interact with natural elements like wind and water in this digital installation, where visitors’ silhouettes can be frozen temporarily as golden particles.
