Pure Group plans three more yoga studios

Pure Group plans to open three additional Pure Yoga studios – in Kwun Tong, Mong Kok and Causeway Bay.

Its announcement comes after the launch of Pure Yoga Pacific Place earlier this month.

Pure Yoga - Pure Yoga is meeting growing demands with a growing network of yoga studios

Pure Yoga Grand Century Place in Mong Kok and Pure Yoga Millennium City 5 in Kwun Tong will mark further expansion in Kowloon early next year, while Pure Yoga World Trade Centre will bolster the group’s Causeway Bay offering in December. As well as yoga classes for all levels, the studios will sell performance activewear from Pure Apparel and “healthy-licious” food and drinks from Nood Food.

Pure Group says there has been a surge in membership across Asia in the past year, with demand being particularly high in Hong Kong. Pure Yoga has nine locations in the city, encompassing Admiralty, Causeway Bay, Central, Quarry Bay, Mong Kok, Repulse Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui. Adding to the studios in Langham Place and Peninsula office towers, the two new locations by MTR Mong Kok East and Kwun Tong stations will widen options for students and help address demand from the New Territories.

“Every Pure Yoga studio has its own distinct character,” says co-founder/CEO Colin Grant. “When a new studio is opened, we take into consideration client feedback and how best to cater to the surrounding neighbourhood. We’ve been searching for suitable locations in Kowloon for a long time.”

Pure Yoga launched in Hong Kong 15 years ago, and Grant says its student demographics are now more diverse than ever. “In the past year there has been a significant rise in men, athletes and millennials attending classes, but it’s more than just about yoga – people are looking for a change in lifestyle and complete mind-body wellbeing.”
