Anonyme Designers partners with Japanese d-stores

Italian women’s fashion brand Anonyme Designers has formed partnerships with three Japanese department stores – Sogo and Takashimaya in Yokohama, and Hankyu in Osaka.

Anonyme has had a presence in Japan for three years, just after establishing its Asia base in Hong Kong.

With its home base in Rome, the label says it has had “significant growth” in sales, allowing it to close its latest year with EBITDA of more than 20 per cent.

It was founded in 2013 by Jonas Schneider and Alessandro Pulcini, respectively MD and creative director. It sells in 25 countries through wholesale distribution, with more than 1000 outlets and numerous department stores on three continents.

With its own online store, the brand has also collaborated with the Yoox e-commerce site for several years.
