Japanese artist/designer Tokujin Yoshioka features in a cutdown version of the Objets Nomades collection on display in the Louis Vuitton Omotesando flagship store in Tokyo.
Launched in 2012, the collection aims to demonstrate excellence in both creativity and craftsmanship in travel and furniture products. It rotates leading designers for the travelling collection, with Yoshioka’s blossom stool on display.
It is the first time Japan has hosted the showcase, this time drawn from a new collection of 25 items from 12 designers that made its debut in Milan this year.
There are 13 designs in the Tokyo display, which continues until the end of the month.
