Ajisen (China) loses traction in Hong Kong

A slipping  growth rate in Hong Kong has been eased by an improvement in Mainland China for fast-casual restaurant business Ajisen (China) Holdings.

Same-store sales fell 7.9 per cent in Hong Kong for the three months to the end of December, balanced by 5.3 per cent growth in China.

Overall, the group’s business sales rose 2.4 per cent in terms of value, without specific figures being released.

Ajisen’s restaurants sell ramen and Japanese-style dishes in Hong Kong and China. It also has a noodles and related products production unit.
