Link Reit’s flagship Temple Mall in Wong Tai Sin could be in line for a world record with its Lunar New Year installation, a 6.8m-tall pinwheel display.

There are 16,888 pinwheels in its “Spin for Good Fortune” installation, in a figure-of-eight formation with rainbow colours. It aims to set a Guinness World Record as the world’s largest pinwheel display.

Being launched next Thursday, the installation is also imbued with the scent of narcissus, a flower popular for festivals.
