Scan & Go HK (S&G) has launched Hong Kong’s first mobile discount retail store in partnership with FutureProof Retail (FPR).
S&G’s concept store combines social-media marketing with FPR’s mobile shopping platform, allowing offline retailers to transform traditional bargain shopping. Shoppers download the Express Checkout App to learn about sales, and can scan and pay for items using their phones without having to wait in line.
With S&G’s ever-changing inventory of discount products, the technology provides customers with a modern bargain-hunting shopping experience.
“Scan & Go HK offers shoppers not only early notice when the latest styles go on sale, but also the convenience and personalisation of online shopping offline,” says FutureProof Retail president Di Di Chan.
Scan & Go HK’s first store covers 5000sqft (465sqm) in San Po Kong, Kowloon.
FPR was founded in New York in 2013 by a group of “impatient” shoppers and award-winning developers.
