With just three clicks, users will be able to find places for dining, shopping and activities based on their location when using the WhereIsWhere mobile app. In its initial roll-out, the app targets retailers and mall management companies. It is already working to help drive store traffic to the Wisteria Mall, scheduled to open by the third quarter of this year.

As consumers move to e-commerce platforms, brick-and-mortar businesses are losing market share, says WhereIsWhere CEO/founder Terence Mak. To help these retailers become more discoverable, WhereIsWhere targets consumers in their vicinity.

It is free for businesses to register their listings and activities on WhereIsWhere. An interactive map allows businesses to mark their exact location, and they can also push marketing messages on a self-servicing dashboard that lets them design and run campaigns across multiple outlets for a fixed monthly fee.

In the lead-up to its official launch, WhereIsWhere on-boarded F&B chain Old Chang Kee.
