Milestone pop-up for IWC Schaffhausen

To mark its 150th anniversary, luxury Swiss watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen will showcase its heritage in an interactive pop-up store at Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay.

Featuring two floors covering 340sqft, the pop-up will be designed in an industrial style reminiscent of the original IWC factory. At its centre will be a “time machine”, and there will be displays of iconic IWC watches. These historic pieces include a jubilee collection comprising 29 limited-edition models from the Da Vinci, Pilot’s, Portofino and Portugieser families.

A special highlight will be the IWC tribute to the Pallweber Edition 150 Years wristwatch, IWC’s first watch to feature jumping numerals in a digital display. It also features design elements inspired by the historic Pallweber pocket watches produced in 1884, as a tribute to FA Jones, the American watchmaker who founded the International Watch Company in 1868.

Along with the exhibits, artisanal coffee shop Urban Coffee Roaster will host a pop-up stand offering a selection of freshly roasted coffee.

IWC’s pop-up store will open next Wednesday and run until to 10 June.
