Zara Singapore relaunches in VivoCity

Almost twice as big since its refurbishment, Zara Singapore’s flagship store has been relaunched in VivoCity.

It showcases the Spanish fast-fashion brand’s latest global concept, with its 2700sqm sales area being split into two areas, with the latest collections of Woman, Basic, TRF and Kids under one roof, and a separate store dedicated to Man.

A windowless facade offers a transparent view of the store’s architectural features, collections and mannequins. The backlit ceiling provides soft ambient lighting while the space invites customers to interact with the merchandise.

Also incorporated is the green-building criteria stipulated by Zara’s parent group Inditex. As an eco-efficient store, it uses 20 per cent less energy and 40 per cent less water than a conventional store. Its energy use is regulated by a control centre at Zara’s headquarters in Arteixo, northwest Spain.

Technological developments include RFID garment tracking.
