Japanese actor/singer Takayuki Yamada had to bust some new moves at Shibuya’s 109 shopping mall in Tokyo – he found himself with his hands full, measuring breasts as part of a promotion for Co-medical’s range of Funwari Room bras.
For this uplifting experience, the Japanese bra brand had 3000 people lining up from 5am to breast the tape.
For nearly seven hours, the 34-year-old star took the vital statistics of a wide variety of participants, who seemed titillated by the company’s prior warning that “breasts may be touched inadvertently during the measuring process”, reports Sora News 24.
Yamada live-streamed some of his activity to fans, including giving out colour recommendations for the “room bra” sets being sold at the event. With other staff members, he was dressed in a special top that made it look like he was wearing a room bra set, compete with cleavage. Overall, Yamada had time enough to measure only 300 people.
Participants were encouraged to share hashtagged images on a photo wall, and while most of the participants were women, men were also allowed to take part.
Co-medical says a portion of the sales from the day will be donated to the Pink Ribbon Foundation, which supports breast-cancer charities.
