Buccellati back in Hong Kong after 48 years

Chinese-owned Italian luxury jewellery house Buccellati has returned to Hong Kong 48 years after opening its first store.

On the ground floor of Harbour City’s Gateway Arcade, the store is regarded by the brand as a step forward in its international expansion. It is the sixth boutique for Asia launched by the Milan-based jewellery powerhouse.

A feature of its decor are micro-sculptures that resemble the house’s iconic Modellato engravings. Jewellery pieces on display include Macri Classica cuff bracelets, Opera Colour sautoirs and Hawaiian earrings.

Founded in Milan in 1919, Buccellati is noted for its traditional engraving techniques and Italian Renaissance-inspired designs.
