John Masters Organics teams with restaurant for ‘natural beauty afternoons’

John Masters Organics is proving health and beauty can match with fine food.

The luxury organic beauty brand has teamed with Maison ES, a modern European restaurant in the heart of Starstreet Precinct in Wanchai, to create a #GoingOrganic ‘Fruitful Living Tea Set’ menu, mixing food and beauty products.

Inspired by John Masters Organics’ Vitamin C Anti-Aging Face Serum, and other edible organic ingredients used in its products, Maison ES founder, executive chef Esther Sham, has designed an organic afternoon tea set with both savouries and sweets items.

“I visited John Masters Organics store at Omotesando when I travelled to Japan earlier. I was very impressed with their clean and natural design, as well as the juice bar, that feels very healthy,” she explains. “This is exactly the concept I applied when I designed this afternoon tea set, having fruits as the main ingredient when creating the menu. Knowing that every John Masters Organics product has at least 70 per cent organic ingredients, the majority of the ingredients I used are also organic, to respond to the very popular organic eating habits in recent years.”

Savoury dishes include Grilled Grapefruit with Romesco; Melting Brie Spring Roll with Balsamic & Fig Confiture; Spicy Mayo Mango, Tofu and Quinoa Pita Pocket; and Crispy Granny Smith Chip topped with Crunchy Bacon & Caramelised Onion. Sweets include John Masters Organics Green Tea served with Maison ES Homemade Genmai & Kiwi Juice; Salted Caramel Banana Brownie; Whole Wheat Mixed Berries Crumble; Chia Seed & Lemon Panna Cotta; and Rose Petal & Plain Scones served with Maison ES Rose Petal Jam.

Guests who order the Fruitful Living Tea Set will also be served a John Masters Organics Skincare & Haircare Trial Set, worth HK$350.

Maison ES will be selling John Masters Organics organic cotton tote bags or HK$20 each during the collaboration period, with all profits going to charity.

John Masters Organics x Maison ES Fruitful Living Tea Set is served on weekends and public holidays until September 16, between 3pm and 5pm.
