Australian restaurant chain Claypots lands in Singapore

Australian restaurant chain Claypots has opened in Singapore’s Amoy Street.

The launch represents a homecoming for local owners Melvin Yeo and Elaine Lim, in that SIngaporean cuisine constitutes one of the original inspirations for the brand under Australian founder Renan Goksin. Claypot’s unique offering is the Mediterranean influence served with fresh seafood in the serving style otherwise familiar from local hawker stalls.

Claypot’s flagship Singapore venue is in an aging shophouse with correspondingly antique-styled fixtures. Ingredients are sourced fresh locally or imported from Australia.

The restored shophouse hosting Claypot is 1t 103 Amoy Street.
