Ocha Fresh Thai promises new approach in Frasers Tower

A new Thai dining concept has opened in the Frasers Tower in Tanjong Pagar.

Conceived by a Singapore-based Thai national and her New Zealand partner on a quest to find true-tasting authentic food outside of Thailand, Ocha Fresh Thai aims to plug a gap in the local restaurant landscape.

“Ocha” is the phonetic translation of “delicious” in Thai and it aims to live up to its name by using quality ingredients cooked the traditional way, with  authentic spices and their very own curry pastes and sauces.

Consistent with its location, Ocha Fresh Thai’s offer is squarely aimed at discerning urban professionals, looking to inject some tasty yet healthy flavours in to their busy schedules.

The Thai-Kiwi couple both come from the investment management industry and were originally trained as architects.

The restaurant interior mirrors the brand DNA: natural materials, warm lighting and vibrant colours.

The founding couple say they may consider further food and beverage-related ventures in the future.
