Founder Leo Tam says he spent more than a year painstakingly perfecting every recipe on the menu, creating ‘formulas’ much like in a chemist lab.

The menu caters to those who looking for a vitamin-packed breakfast or lunch, a nutrient-rich afternoon snack or an energy boost pre- and post-gym.

Tam says customers are guaranteed to be served all-natural food and drinks made fresh to order, with no artificial sweetening and using quality fruit and vegetables sourced and delivered daily.

Other elements including flaxseed, chia seed and cashew butter have been imported from around the world to ensure nutritional value and quality.

Currently Bear’s Lab offer three types of smoothie bowls (priced from HK$78-$88), four types of smoothie drinks ($52-$60) and five types of vegan lattes ($38-$45).

Tam expects his vegan lattes to be a huge attraction, with colourful drinks like Golden Turmeric, Matcha, Spirulina, Activated Charcoal and Beetroot.

A giant teddy bear against a pink-and-white rose wall is something of a focal point in the store – providing a highly Instagrammable feature.
