Apparel retailer H&M and Izzy Bizu, the British singer-songwriter, are to release a capsule collection as well as a single.
The H&M x Izzy Bizu collection consists of 11 pieces with a strongly contrasting colour scheme and edgy silhouettes.
The song, Someone that Loves You, features in the brand’s Divided Music campaign film as well as on the company website and in H&M stores worldwide. According to reports, the H&M and Izzy Bizu project is a first step in the fast-fashion brand’s decision to support and promote emerging musical talent.
H&M’s design director Pernilla Wohlfahrt said: “Not only does Izzy have a beautiful voice, but her personality is fun, feisty and down-to-earth, which makes her the ideal frontwoman for this H&M Divided Music collection. The preppy pieces have that flirty, feminine edge, which feels cheerful and most importantly, looks modern.”
Izzy Bizu was handpicked by Coldplay to support their tour last year and has more than 75 million global Spotify streams for her single White Tiger.
