Kenzo Hong Kong open first children’s store

Kenzo Hong Kong has opened its first dedicated children’s store

The new 40sqm Kenzo Kids store has opened in Ocean Terminal and houses the brand’s luxury range for children aged up to 16 years old.

Creative director of local licensee Kidiliz group Maud Rascle said Kenzo Kids chose Hong Kong for its dynamism and potential.

“Last year we held a pop-up store for Kenzo Kids at Ocean Terminal, which is one of the busiest and most dynamic malls in Asia. The pop-up was a success and it was the logical next step to open a flagship store this year.”

Kenzo Kids has enjoyed annual growth of between 20 to 30 per cent since its artistic direction was taken over by Opening Ceremony in 2011.

The new permanent store is an indicator of Kenzo Hong Kong’s growing following. Kenzo already operates 850 worldwide points of sale and is making broad Asian inroads following backing from Chinese group Semir.
