Australian manchester and hobbycraft retailer Spotlight has opened a second outlet at Westgate shopping mall, drawing a queue of almost 300 shoppers.

The first shoppers arrived to queue some four hours before the 16,000sqft Spotlight Singapore outlet was scheduled to open on November 10 in the hopes of taking advantage of a free-pillow promotion. The pillows were offered to the first 200 visitors to the store.

The retailer, trading in fabrics, crafts and homeware products, launched its first Singapore store in Plaza Singapura.
