New Korean beauty salon and cafe “Walking on Sunshine” has opened in Orchard Central.

The multi-concept store has opened in what locals describe as a “hard-to-find location” vacated by tea house/retail store Steamroom With The Pillar and Stones, which failed to overcome the relative obscurity of its positioning.

Despite the low foot traffic, early reports and reviews on Facebook have been highly favourable.

The salon is decked out with multiple potted plants and offers specialty retail items such as Korean floral teas and Kinto tableware. Cafe cuisine on offer also reflects the Korean style.

Walking on Sunshine is open daily from 10am.
