AsiaMalls partners with GrabPay across all of its properties

Shopping centre operator AsiaMalls has entered into a partnership with O2O platform Grab to establish payment services across six complexes.

Grab’s GrabPay service will be the preferred cashless payment provider throughout the mall network from next year, while the two businesses explore further opportunities to collaborate on loyalty programs.

AsiaMalls MD Tan Kee Yong said that as heartland malls, we are community gathering places where friends and families come together for their everyday shopping and dining needs.

“We see much synergy in this integration with GrabPay to satisfy shoppers’ need for speed, security and convenience. This is a win-win partnership for us. We’re excited to be partnering with a trusted brand to drive adoption of a more cashless culture in Singapore.”

Head of GrabPay Singapore Gary Wong said Grab believes in taking a collaborative approach to encourage e-payments adoption in Singapore.

“We are excited to partner with AsiaMalls, who shares our vision of a cashless society, to drive mass adoption of GrabPay within the heartlands. Today, more than 6000 merchants accept GrabPay and over 80 per cent of Grab users in Singapore are using GrabPay for various services.”
