Scad Hong Kong fashion showcase set for January 10

Scad Hong Kong says the fifth edition of its annual fashion showcase will take place on January 10.
The event will be held at the Sham Shui Po campus, where three of Hong Kong’s fashion students representing the best talent from Scad’s senior year will showcase a range of looks. The newly-structured fashion event is a self-guided fashion vignette through the entire historic building at the former North Kowloon Magistracy.

Maria Nava’s Green is a futuristic women’s collection, each piece portraying the emotions and mood of the German Expressionist period through custom fabrication, lenticular prints, odd silhouettes and distorted conventional shapes.
Tammi Lau’s Windaholic is an abstract womenswear collection inspired by the movement of wind and its symbolic meanings. The collection uses objects that represent wind as an invisible force.
All the graduates’ collections incorporate crystals donated by Swarovski.
