Chinachem launches Papillons Square at Tseung Kwan O

Learn to play is the theme of the new Papillons Square mall

Hong Kong development firm Chinachem Group has launched a brand-new two-storey 140,000sqft landmark in Tseung Kwan O.

Papillons Square is adjacent to Tseung Kwan O promenade with its sea views and is set to become a prominent waterfront shopping and leisure destination for both the district’s residents and visitors.

“Given the exceedingly high revenue and traffic during the pre-launch period we are most confident in its prospects, and about 25,000 visitors are expected on weekdays, peaking at 40,000 visitors on weekends and holidays after the launch, with visitor per capita spending to be from HK$300–1200,” said Chinachem Group executive director and CEO Donald Choi.

“The group also plans on injecting various new elements into its shopping mall business with a view to preparing itself better for the future.”

About one-fifth of tenants at Papillons Square comprise lifestyle stores and beauty bars.
