Kuala Lumpur’s KSL Esplanade Mall reveals anchor tenants
KSL Esplanade Mall, scheduled to open in Malaysia’s South Klang next year, has unveiled a list of confirmed tenants for the development.
Currently 65 per cent of the mall’s 650,000sqft retail area is tenanted to more than 100 brands.
KSL Esplanade will also be complemented by more 300 local and international stores and a number of large format retailers.
The anchor tenants of the mall include TGV Cinemas, Daiso, Energex Park, Loon Sing Restaurant, Houzone, Next Gen, Mr DIY, Happy Fish Swim School, Ashley Furniture HomeStore, Tone & Mann, Karaoke Manekineko, FOS and Toyworld.
“The signing of all its major retailers articulates the confidence the market has in KSL Esplanade Mall,” said KSL City Management project director Patrick Khoo. “Our dedicated team has carried out detailed research and planning on the right mix responsive to the needs and expectations of the target market … KSL Esplanade Mall would not only attract people within the catchment area, but also provide broad appeal to draw customers across Klang Valley, with a focus on South Klang, as the next destination hub for shopping.
“We are also close to securing a group of renowned partners for the remaining retail space,” added Khoo. “We are confident to meet our target within 16 months to the opening.”
