Revealed: the next movers & shakers of Singapore fashion

Singaporean Textile and Fashion Federation initiative The Bridge Fashion Incubator (TBFI) has announced nine brands that will undergo its next 30-week incubation programme starting April 6.

The Singapore fashion brands are Graceful Swimmers, Looms, Punkabella, Tropick Apparel, Binary Style, Igloo Wear, OliveAnkara, Sans Faff and Shop Bettr.

The programme is designed to help brands achieve a diverse range of business objectives through customised mentorship, providing founders with access to industry leaders, learning from specialists as well as how to pitch to potential investors.

“TBFI connected us with industry leaders and specialist mentors who understood the nuances of the fashion industry,” said Collaro co-founders Ethan Lim and Travis Ng, who participated in the federation’s last programme. “We gained actionable insights that were immediately applicable to our business.”

The nine Singapore-based brands were chosen for their “potential to become the next wave of disruptors in the fashion and textile industries”. Among the various topics they will immerse themselves in are the circular economy, sustainable fashion materials and packaging, and the latest direct-to-consumer business models.

TBFI is supported by Enterprise Singapore and has strategic partnerships with Lenzing (Southeast Asia), The Mills Fabrica (Hong Kong), Omnilytics (Malaysia), IFA Paris (France), Le Village (France) and the Independent Fashion Advisory Board (Australia).
