Shanghai Tang launches ‘Catch me if you can’ charity campaign

Shanghai Tang has partnered with Hong Kong non-profit organisation Lifelong Animal Protection Charity (LAP) to launch a campaign ‘Catch me if you can’ helping abandoned cats.

In this collection, seven cats from LAP awaiting adoption are pictured with slip-ons in the campaign photoshoot. Images of them will be printed on promotional cards and shared on different channels to encourage adoption of the animals.

The ‘Catch me if you can’ collection features three designs including the latest slip-on skate shoes and the loafers and mules launched last year. All shoes are embroidered with a cat-and-mouse game pattern.

“Lifelong Animal Protection is delighted that Shanghai Tang shares our vision to help animals in need,” said Sheila McClelland, founder of LAP. “We can walk together to reach our goal.”

According to the company, a portion of the sales from the ‘Catch me if you can’ footwear collection will be used to raise awareness of the plight of homeless cats and help them find a home. The ‘Catch me if you can’ footwear collection is now available at Shanghai Tang boutiques and its online platform.
