Dairy Farm, Jardine & Hang Seng Bank launch joint rewards programme, Yuu
Hong Kong’s Dairy Farm Group, Jardine Restaurant Group and Hang Seng Bank have launched a loyalty programme covering more than 10 retail brands, called Yuu Rewards.
The coalition will cover more than 2000 retail stores and restaurants throughout the territory, awarding shoppers points based on spending at a rate of 1 point per one Hong Kong dollar. Yuu members can redeem points at any of the participating retailers, which include Wellcome, Mannings, 7-Eleven, Ikea, KFC, Pizza Hut, Market Place by Jasons, Market Place, PHD, 3hree6ixty, Oliver’s the Delicatessen and Jason’s Ichiba.
With the points collected and spent using a mobile app via scan-and-go, the programme’s launch represents what Dairy Farm Group describes as a milestone in its digital-transformation plan. It is the first digital platform that connects almost all of the group’s brands digitally.
“With over 2000 places to shop and dine in, Yuu members will earn more points, in more places, faster than ever before, in turn helping them to save money everywhere they go in Hong Kong,” said Ian McLeod, CEO of Dairy Farm Group.
“Our goal is to continue to bring exceptional value, quality and convenience to all our customers.”
Hang Seng Bank will launch a new Yuu EnJoy-branded credit card, users of which can treble their points when shopping at the retail partners.
But Yuu is by nature more than a points-collecting programme. Users will have the option of transferring points to family or friends and even donating them to a selection of partnering charities. Initial partners are Foodlink Foundation and Helping Hand, focusing on the areas of ageing population, child development and meal donations in Hong Kong and more will be added soon.
Yuu members will receive daily promotional offers from partner retailers and restaurants.
Membership is free and users can download the app for Apple or Android devices.
