Japan souffle pancake chain Flipper’s is to make its Singapore debut next month.

Its first Singapore store, which is also Southeast Asia’s first outlet, will be opened inside the Takashimaya Shopping Centre at Ngee Ann City on Orchard Road.

Flipper’s is known for its Classic Kiseki Pancake (picture above), which is served in a stack of three with maple butter cream. The souffle pancake comes with extremely soft texture and is made from milk and eggs imported from Japan.

Ahead of its opening, Fipper’s Singapore is running a campaign on its Facebook page, inviting 10 winners to join an exclusive dining preview with a Classic Kiseki Pancake on the house.

Although the brand said it will launch next month, the opening date has yet to be announced.

Besides 12 stores in Japan, the chain operates in Seoul, Taiwan, Hong Kong and New York.
