Convenience chain 7-Eleven has partnered with Green Monday to launch a plant-based meal range across its outlets in Hong Kong.
The range will include ready-meals-to-go and classic dim sum dishes, and will be rolled out across more than 700 stores. Meanwhile more than 30 plant-based snacks and drinks will be offered in 150 stores.
“More and more people are adopting a vegetarian lifestyle, but finding tasty plant-based food conveniently and around the clock can still be a challenge,” said Alex Liu, MD at 7-Eleven Hong Kong and Macau.
“Our extensive store network and the fact we’re open 24 hours enables us to meet our customers’ needs and offer them plant-based options anytime, anywhere.”
The convenience chain is also adding plant-based options to its menu on Deliveroo.
“We believe this partnership with 7-Eleven has an enormous impact on promoting a plant-based lifestyle and that the selection from Green Common gives 7-Eleven’s customers greater choice when it comes to quick and convenient plant-based options,” said David Yeung, founder of Green Monday.
