Christian Dior has named BlackPink’s Jisoo as its new global ambassador for both fashion and beauty.

The brand said in its announcement, “[Jisoo] embodies, with her singular audacity, the house’s modernity and the passionate creativity of Maria Grazia Chiuri, who was inspired by the Korean singer for her Fall 2021 collection”.

The singer will also feature in the upcoming makeup campaigns by Peter Philipps, director of creation and image makeup at Dior.

Prior to the appointment, Jisoo already held a global ambassador title for Dior Beauty. The BlackPink member recently appeared as the brand’s ambassador for Dior Fashion within South Korea.

Besides their music, the four-member K-pop group is famous for making waves in the fashion and beauty industry. Other members have been named as ambassadors for luxury brands including Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Celine.
