Korean fashion house ADLV lands in Australia this May

Korean clothing brand Acmé de la Vie (ADLV) is launching its first brick and mortar store in Australia this May at QV Melbourne, ahead of a local online store.

ADLV co-founders Jinmo and Jaemo Goo launched the streetwear business in 2017, and opened its first store in Korea’s Gangnam district. Since then, the brand has launched more than 50 stores in Asia and collaborated with Disney, Pink Fong, Kakaotalk and The Simpsons.

ADLV’s Australian director Ying Yang said the company knows streetwear is a staple of Australian fashion.

“We love seeing how consumers adapt pieces to the Australian climate. Given the circumstances and the year we’ve all endured, we’re both proud and grateful to be able to continue our growth and better serve our customers on this side of the globe.”

The brand was inspired by French passage, ‘acme de la vie’, meaning ‘the pinnacle of life’.

ADLV focuses on high-end streetwear fashion such as t-shirts, sweats, hoodies, accessories and outerwear, and is well-known for having graphics and pop-culture characters such as the Baby Face series.
