Thai silk fashion retailer Jim Thompson has appointed Frank Cancelloni as its new group CEO. 

Cancelloni has spent more than 30 years living and working in Asia, across retail, digital, licensing and distribution, and managed businesses and operations across Asia Pacific and India. 

“Frank is a widely experienced senior executive with a strong commercial, financial and operational track record spanning over a long successful career in the Far East,” said William Booth, board member at Jim Thompson. 

Prior to Jim Thompson, Frank was president of PVH Asia where he oversaw the Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein divisions. Frank also held senior roles at Lacoste Asia Pacific and VF Asia. 

“He is a good communicator and a great fit for Jim Thompson, and is well qualified to lead our business through the profound disruption of the Covid-19 epidemic and to improve our profitability,” Booth added.
