Pizza Hut is expanding its reach to Cambodia with its first store opening in Phnom Penh this month.
Launching under a franchise agreement with United Food Group, which owns the Cambodia restaurant chain Park Cafe, Pizza Hut’s first store in the country is located in the Russian market, also known as the city’s expat and business hub.
The launch will be followed by two more stores opening in the coming months. United Food Group said it plans to roll out 30 Pizza Huts in the country within three years.
“We believe that Pizza Hut will be the pizza brand of choice among Cambodians,” said Heng Sengly, group CEO of United Food Group. “The number of Cambodians with disposable income is increasing rapidly and they’re looking for brands and products to enhance their modern lifestyle.”
Founded in 1958, Pizza Hut has a presence in more than 100 countries and is the largest pizza brand in the Asia Pacific.
