Green Common opens two flagships in one week in Greater China

Plant-based grocery shop and cafe chain, Green Common is ramping up its expansion with the opening of new flagship stores in Shanghai and Hong Kong in the space of a week.

Located in Hong Kong Central’s Nexxus Building, Green Common’s Hong Kong flagship store spans two storeys and features the brand’s new colour palate and image. Different to the signature green scheme of its other stores, aqua is the dominant colour in the Nexxus interior and facade.

While the ground floor houses a coffee and drinks bar with oat milk centrestage and a retail sales area, the upper floor is a restaurant serving Asian fusion cuisine and vegan wines.

“Green Common Nexxus aims to impress, empower and transform everyone who walks through our door,” said David Yeung, founder and CEO of Monday Group. “We are here to set a new pinnacle for the world, that gourmet, innovation, sustainability, wellness, kindness and accessibility can absolutely coexist! The best of all worlds is indeed possible, and it is officially arriving in Green Common Nexxus.”

“This isn’t just our flagship. It is also the nexus that will bridge our community to a beautiful and sustainable future.”

Meanwhile, the new Shanghai flagship is located at Shanghai’s new Taikoo Li Qiantan wellness-themed retail complex. It welcomed 150,000 customers on its opening days.
