Facebook Hong Kong has launched its first pop-up store in the territory, introducing its ‘Your Profile, Your Home’ campaign.

Facebook said the pop-up store launch is aimed at educating consumers on how to personalise their experience using the Facebook app while maintaining their online privacy and safety.

The brand has taken over the F&B and lifestyle concept space in Central, Preface Coffee & Wine, to house the pop-up event.

Local celebrity, Alfred Hui, attended the kick-off event to demonstrate just how customisable the settings are. At the store, visitors can also learn more about the app’s privacy control and settings through digital experience.

With the tagline ‘What makes a perfect home?’, the store also houses Instagrammable spaces with interactive AR filters developed by Preface Coding, including photo-taking with an avatar of Alfred Hui.

An on-site quiz is also available for visitors to participate – with the first 10 winners of each day to receive Alfred Hui’s autographed gift.

Facebook Hong Kong pop-up store is scheduled to open until December 7.
