Charles & Keith Taiwan has unveiled the design of its newly-launched concept store at Kaohsiung E Sky Mall, its largest store in the territory.

Charles & Keith Kaohsiung is part of the brand’s recent series of concept stores across the globe, including Hong Kong’s Cityplaza boutique opening last October and Kuala Lumpur’s store opening at KLCC Mall earlier this month.

The 302sqm store follows the brand’s sixth-generation store concept, following minimal colour scheme and design to “achieve a clean, pared-back and modern aesthetic”. Gradual curves and fluid lines are featured throughout.

Lush greenery with palm trees and subtropical plants create a sense of calm. Meanwhile, the light green corrugated display by the entrance was crafted from eco-friendly materials.

The store’s walls feature exquisite pleats inspired by traditional Taiwanese cement sandblasting techniques, while furniture was locally manufactured from eco-friendly polycarbonate bricks.

“From the textures of the interior to the visual presentation of the merchandise, the store is designed to provide a respite from the noise of the outside world,” the company said.

Kaohsiung E Sky Mall marks the largest out of the eight stores in Taiwan and the first in the territory’s southern region.
