Dutch baby gear and products brand, Nuna, is to open its first flagship store in Japan this month in partnership with its local distributor Katoji.

“We have decided to open the first flagship store of Nuna in Japan because we want you to directly feel the high quality and design of Nuna,” the company said in a statement.

The store is scheduled to open on January 24 in Daikanyama, offering baby gear and accessories, including baby carriers, pushchairs, travel cots and baby bouncers. Nuna Daikanyama also houses a nursing room where customers can relax.

Customers in Japan can also try Nuna’s products through its rental service, which will be free until the end of this month. They will also be refunded the full price of the service if they purchase the product later.

Founded in 2007, Nuna has a presence in more than 80 countries, including China, South Korea, and the US. Its products have received more than 320 awards, including the Red Dot Award.
